Rules for the BINGO! Tournament

    1. INTRODUCTION

      1. The organizer of the English BINGO! game is New Chicago spol. s.r.o.
      2. Players should observe fair play and respect the moderator’s decisions.
      3. Teams may participate in the English BINGO! game, provided that each team member plays individually and all members have met the entry requirements—that is, they have registered and paid the entry fee—before the start of the English BINGO! game.

      DATE AND TIME

      1. The English BINGO! game will take place on dates and times set by the organizer.
      2. Generally, English BINGO! at the bar in all cities will be held on Wednesday, always starting at 7:00 PM.
      3. You must arrive before 7:00 PM, as the game will already be underway by that time. We recommend arriving at least half an hour before the start.
      4. English BINGO! dates are published on the newchicago.sk website prior to each upcoming event.

      VENUE

      • English BINGO! is held at the bar in Košice located at Mlynská 27, 040 01 Košice.
      • English BINGO! held at the bar in Žilina, located at Radničná 22/6, 010 01 Žilina

      REGISTRATION

      • Teams can pre-register online using the form posted on New Chicago’s social media pages and the newchicago.sk website.
      • There is no limit to the number of team members, as each player plays for themselves. 
      • Each member must pay a 5€ entry fee before the English BINGO game begins!
      • For students with ESN card – entry fee is 4€.
      • Payment can be made by card or cash, at the customer’s discretion. 

      RULES

      1. Each player has a unique bingo card with different numbers.
      2. When the host calls out a number that appears on their card, they mark that number off.
      3. During the music round, a song will play, and after 15 seconds, its title will appear on the screen. If it’s on the card, mark it off.
      4. Goal: Fill out the entire card during each round. This happens once per round.
      5. A partial winner will be announced after each round—shout “Chicago Bingo!” if you have a full card. That is, if you are the first to mark off every square on your card.
      6. We play 5 rounds with breaks.
      7. Each round has one or more winners, who will receive a voucher worth up to €30.
      8. The winner is the first person to shout “CHICAGO BINGO!”
      9. In the case of classic number BINGO, you can purchase an additional card in advance for €1, which you must use in that round. This way, you can increase your chances of winning in a single round by purchasing up to 2 additional cards, which, together with the card included in the price, gives you a maximum of 3 cards per round.
      • Estimated time: 1.5–2 hours 

      REWARDS / PRIZES

      • If there is one clear winner, the prize is a 25€ voucher
      • If two people “shout” the correct password at the same time, the prize is 2x 15€ vouchers (the prize is split if they shout the correct password simultaneously and it is impossible to determine who was first)
      • And for the first 3 (max) winners, the prize is 3 × 10€ vouchers (the prize is split if they shout the correct password at the same time and it is impossible to determine who was first)
